The sensors, condition monitoring & protection systems, S1 software and analytics algorithms are widely applied for these rotating machines in industries of Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Iron & Steel, Mining, Pulp, Municipal, etc. Partner with the best As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will use the knowledge of Bently Nevada applications, together with project and service experience and deep P&L product domain knowledge to develop product and installation solutions to meet customer needs. As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will be responsible for: Supporting Sales by reviewing and influencing customer specifications to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for development of equipment and service quotations Developing hardware and service proposal solutions to provide the most costs effective, technically appropriate solution to meet customer need Finding the fastest possible options for Sales / customers and develop proposal with competitive pricing and delivery Familiarizing with commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process Understanding the of Commercial process / stages and tools to ensure appropriate bid compliance and risk mitigation prior to release of a proposal to a customer Coordinating to vendor prequalification documents and accepting ownership of bid opportunities from Sales via Deal Machine Maintaining strong industry intelligence to inform business decision-making Communicate individual customer requirements for Sales Manager in regards to design and quotation Communicating requirements for order fulfillment to OTR project operations teams Contributing to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goal and Document competitors\' activities and assess potential market moves Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Have least 3 years of experience in a Sales, Service, Engineering or other related role. Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Proposals. Bachelor\'s/Master\'s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Controls) is preferred Able to perform engineering analysis and design, to develop solutions in a team environment, and to provide technical consulting services to customers Have level of commercial and contractual knowledge to negotiate and close deals with customers Able to lead project teams conducting technical analysis to mitigate risk Have experience in preparation of detailed technical proposals Strong oral and written communication skills and strong customer mindset Have Domain expert - deep technical knowledge of product line and its application Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
