To contribute to the business unit strategic plan and brief the team to reflect into their buy plans.
To creates strategic plans detailing range, price, suppliers, and promotional activity.
To review the performance of range across category and identify immediate actions to improve performance.
To leads difficult negotiations with the team.
To carry out regular checks of outlet and monitor trends and derive plans to capitalize the opportunities.
To manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
To evaluate effectiveness of stock management and making key decisions on stock controls and challenge for improvement.
To review proposals of new sources of supply and evaluate terms proposal from new suppliers.
To respond to customer\xe2\x80\x99s complaints and comments and having ability to resolve them quickly.
To negotiate terms with existing suppliers to manage product distributions, establishing distribution networks and/or developing distribution strategies.
To approve promotion plans and hold promotion evaluations.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma OR Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Studies /Administration / Management, Marketing or equivalent.
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the Retail Supermarket/Wholesales & Trade industry.
Possess with good attitude, communication, and negotiation skills.
Abundance of contacts with vendors / suppliers of various product categories will be advantageous.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written skills,
Fluent in Mandarin is added advantage.
Applicants must be willing to work in Kelana Jaya and willing to travel as when require.
Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
