Keep tidy and maintain the cleanliness of the work area and kitchen storage.
Ensure to use "FIFO" procedure(first in first out) when receiving goods items
Familiar with daily mise en place.
Familiar with the menu, including presentation.
Checking the daily mise en place
Train Cooks (subordinates Commis II and III).
Work closely with the Chef in charge to achieve the standards.
Taste and check the food before going out to the guest, including quality.
Follow the duty roster.
Clean the working area before handing over duty.
Familiar with kitchen equipment and utensils, procedure and usage.
15. Ensure to control spoilage and wastage in the preparing of food.
To cook all food according to the menu by following the recipe.
Maintain food quality and good fresh quantity.
Maintain the rotation of the items used in the buffet and functions.
May be requested to perform other related or unrelated duties as and when required by the management.
