, you will work under the supervision of senior chefs to prepare ingredients, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. You'll play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring food is prepared according to quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed by the Chef de Partie or Senior Chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage procedures.
Follow food hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Support the kitchen team in other duties when required.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, knife handling, and food preparation techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
