About Us:



We are launching an exciting new cafe-restaurant concept at The Linc, Kuala Lumpur. Our 3rd establishment under IMS F&B Group, alongside Locarasa at Bamboo Hills and Khan's Indian Cuisine at Bangsar South. This new outlet will highlight artisan desserts, premium ingredients, and modern pastry craftsmanship.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate

Commis Chef (Pastry)

to support our pastry team in delivering high-quality desserts and contributing to a creative, dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:



As a

Commis Chef (Pastry)

, you will assist the pastry team in preparing premium cakes, pastries, and desserts while maintaining kitchen standards. Responsibilities include:

Pastry Production Support

- Assist in the preparation of cakes, pastries, and dessert components.- follow recipes, plating guidelines, and production standards accurately.

Daily Kitchen Operation

- Ensure ingredients are prepped, organized, and stored correctly.- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all pastry workstations.

Quality & Standards

- Uphold food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with Senior/ Sous Pastry Chefs to support daily kitchen operation.- Be receptive to training and guidance to improve pastry skills.

Inventory & Preparation

- Assist in kitchen stock levels and managing ingredient usage efficiently.- Help with portioning, mixing, baking, decorating, and finishing pastries as required.

Requirements:

Experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, or culinary environment is an advantage. Basic knowledge of pastries, cakes, and dessert preparation. Willingness to learn, improve, and work in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude. Passion for pastry arts and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency.
