Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination Familiar with end to end payroll processes including overtime, allowances, deductions, and final pay Good knowledge of Malaysian regulation, tax law, statutory requirements and processes Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and delivery as per Payroll schedule; calendar of activities and overall data integrity of HR master data in the Payroll system Partner with Internal Super User to perform the monthly reconciliation data audit between the Payroll system Maintain accurate and updated record management for employee master data Liaising with local government statutory bodies such as LHDN, EPF, SOCSO Liaising with external vendors such as insurance providers, medical panels, wellness perks etc. To collate and compile reports for department and management Able to supervise work of subordinates and guide them, resolve issues, and serve as a link between subordinates and upper management Any other ad-hoc duties as per required by the manager

Job Requirements:

5-8 years of working experience in payroll or accounting background from any industry Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or any other related fields Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin.

Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory

as the role requires communicating with Chinese stakeholders SHRM - CP, CIPD, AHRI certification preferable Good with data and tools - pivot tables, formulas, spreadsheets
Working location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

Working days and hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
