Continuous Improvement Lead

Job Description
The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for the development and deployment of all CI programs within the sites. The CI Lead will lead all CI initiatives and train and develop others.
Reporting to the Site Director, the Continuous Improvement Lead will lead multiple projects and implement change solutions across the site. The key focus of the role is to drive actionable change and operational improvement.
- Lead, facilitate and support LEAN activities
- Analyze engineering data to develop and implement new production process improvements and innovation
- Identify improvement opportunities within the sites.
- Develop and lead action plan for tracking, analyzing and reporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordination of projects to meet deadlines with approved budgets
- Recommending strategies to minimize risks, costs and waste while increasing yield and productivity
- Analyze issue affecting quality or process deviation and recommends improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant should have a passion in driving Continuous Improvement and possess a range of the following: * Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS or IWS)
- Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross functional teams across all levels of the organization
- Candidates with experience in the chemicals manufacturing industry will have an added advantage
- An ambition to grow with an exciting and market leading organization
- Experience in the FMCG industry
