Contract for ServiceLocation: Malaysia (MY), Sarawak Energy (SEB)Company: Contract, Project Delivery (50034027), Transmission Substations (50034149),Number of Openings: 2Job Category: ContractClosing Date: 14 September 2024SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Assist project team in full-time supervision of Transmission Substation Projects at site for projects in Execution Phase.
• Ensure the construction works at site are carried out in accordance with specifications, drawings and comply with relevant by-Laws.
• Witness site testing on materials to ensure quality of material used and workmanship by testing materials, setting out, checks and visual inspection.
• Assist civil Project Engineers to resolve any discrepancies between drawings, specifications and site conditions including coordination with Contractor\'s site key personnel and consultants.
• Maintain proper filing of piling records, site daily records, soil investigation records, load test reports, marked-up and update drawings and progress reports.
• Ensure SEB Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policy (HSSE) at work and Life-Saving Rules are strictly adhered to.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Handling contractors that are unfamiliar with SEB expectations particularly in Health, Safety, Security and Environment area as well as Quality Assurance / Quality Control for site civil & structural works as per JKR standards and requirements.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Familiarity with JKR standards and requirements would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on architectural and M&E works would be an added advantage.
• Must have at least 3 years working experience in a role related to civil and structural works.
