SCOPE OF SERVICE:

• Assist Project Director, Project Manager, Manager LWiB (Land and Wayleave in the Business) and Project Services Manager for Project Delivery Department (PDD) in ensuring all the land and wayleave matters and issues are timely resolved within the project timeline.
• Monitor progress of land acquisition and wayleave matters for assigned Transmission Line Projects to meet the various performance targets set and in compliance with Statutory Regulations.
• Initiate and assist project team in preparation of management papers for land acquisition, release of funding and any other papers as required in timely manner.
• Coordinate and monitor closely on the progress of land acquisition process.
• Set up regular discussion/meeting between project team and land & wayleave team to resolve critical land issues impacting project implementation.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly report and monitor the progress for the update to project team.
• Initiate, organise and coordinate with project team/project service on Stakeholder Engagement with government department, agencies, community leaders, landowners and land claimants to inform SEB\'s project planning, land acquisition policy by SEB, land & wayleave grievance channel and etc. to ensure smooth progress in project implementation.
• Ensure all payments made complied with SEB Memorandum of Authority, process and procedure.
• Responsible for crops counting and assessment of land damage, crops & improvement for payment purpose.
• Initiate, coordinate and prepare all relevant paperwork for Legal Entry process, siting application submission.
• Assist in all other matters related to Land & Wayleave Strategy.
• Any other tasks related to work as assigned by line manager / project team.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Managing internal and external stakeholder i.e. Asset Owners, Authorities bodies, Project Team, Contractors and Legal
• Meeting project original timeline when there are land and wayleave challenges faced during the land submission and acquisition phase.Complying with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS, also the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
• Complying with legal requirements of the job (Electricity Ordinance, Sarawak Land Code).
• Building rapport, cooperation and acceptance from external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Any recognize bachelor\'s degree by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
• Min. 1 - 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Lands related matters is an added advantage.
• Adapt in multi-tasking, scheduling, and handling simultaneous projects.
