SCOPE OF SERVICES:

1. To provide full support the Contract Manager / Snr Contract Manager:-

In developing contract & procurement strategies in cooperation with technical disciplines.
Conduct market surveys, prequalification of consultants & contractors.
Conduct tender evaluation and negotiation.

2. To support the Contract Manager / Snr Contract Manager in dealing with all Commercial Matters to the Contract and with specific input for preparations of Progress Payments, Variation Orders, Provisional Sum Items, Variations of Prices for Selected Materials, and any other Commercial Claims.

3. To support the Contract Manager / Snr Contract Manager in Contract Administration matter with specific attention to Preliminaries & General Conditions, general provisions and conditions stated in Contract. To keep records on site (particularly details of delays, agreed variations and any other data that required for evaluation of E.O.T and cost). To clarify any errors and anomalies found in the contracts Drawings and Documents. To assist and ensure all procedures and process for verification of provisional items and additional works are comply accordingly.

4. To contribute and develop the Best Practice and Procedures for the Department.

5. Any other task / duties are required.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Has specific training/education on contract management.
• Able to command of English both spoken and written.
• Has good command of MS Office.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering and other relevant disciplines.
• More than 5 years of working experience or/and more than 5 years of proven capability in contract management.
• Able to handle contract administration work (both pre & post-award) for construction projects.
• Able to prove knowledge and expertise in contractual management, particularly on contract changes, claims, disputes, etc.
