Responsible for supporting the preparation, review, and coordination of project proposals and contract-related matters. This includes technical and commercial bid compilation, contract evaluation, cost estimation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely and compliant tender submission.
Key Responsibilities
1. To Assist Manager in Tender & Proposal Preparation
Prepare and compile technical and commercial proposals in response to client enquiries and tenders.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, procurement, finance, etc.) to collect relevant data & information.
Review tender requirements & specifications particularly technical parts to identify key requirements, deliverables, and potential risks.
2. Material take-off and Cost Estimation
Take off material quantities based on drawings & build Bill of Materials & specification.
Prepare cost breakdowns, pricing structures, and budget estimates.
Support the contract execution process by tracking milestones, variations, and deliverables.
Attend tender briefing & site visit as required.
4. Coordination & Communication
Evaluate tender & proposal especially technical part and prepare technical evaluation including liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers for clarifications, quotations, or technical inputs.
Prepare and maintain tender logs, tender summaries, and bid tracking records.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper documentation, version control, and compliance with ISO and audit requirements.
Develop, update and maintain rate & pricing database to support the preparation of tender and proposal, cost estimates & pricing references.
6. Other Duties
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Contract & Procurement Manager or management.
Skills & Competencies
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Familiarity with tendering procedures, commercial terms, and project costing is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Words, Excel, etc.) and project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, etc.).

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
