Purpose of the RoleAs [COO / Director \xe2\x80\x93 Operations] you will be responsible for leading the development and operations of the company\xe2\x80\x99s manufacturing facilities in Johor Bahru. Your responsibilities will include managing the production processes, ensuring quality standards, optimizing resource allocation, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with other departments to align manufacturing goals with organizational objectives. You will be responsible for working with leadership to identify and implement improvements to bring the facility to a world class standard.Key Accountabilities & Tasks\xe2\x97\x8f Provide leadership, direction, and management for Company\xe2\x80\x99s two production facilities in Johor Bahru.\xe2\x97\x8f Oversee all operational systems and processes to ensure 90% factory utilization.\xe2\x97\x8f Oversee accurate and detailed reporting on production status, machinery performance, and adherence to KPIs for group headquarters.\xe2\x97\x8f Accurately forecast production volumes/quality, coordinating with Commercial\xe2\x97\x8f Hire, manage and continually develop a management team to support you\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure compliance with all regulations, including Department of Environment, Occupational Safety and Health, Department of Labour, and local council.\xe2\x97\x8f In collaboration with leadership. develop and then manage budget plans\xe2\x97\x8f Manage contracts with local supply accounts through effective negotiation and supplier management. Oversee supply chain and outbound logistics of fi nished goods in collaboration with the commercial team.\xe2\x97\x8f Lead management team ensuring high performance throughout team\xe2\x97\x8f Raise and then maintain the tidiness of the facilities.\xe2\x97\x8f Work with leadership on design/ development/ planning for potential expansion sites, being responsible for subsequent project management of construction, commissioning, ramp-up, qualifi cation, and steady state for new facilities.Key KPIs In this role, you will be accountable for several KPIs. These will be agreed between you and the CEO as part of the annual target setting exercise but will include KPIs around\xe2\x97\x8f Production output, utilization rate, yield and quality\xe2\x97\x8f Cost (including HR, procurement and raw materials)\xe2\x97\x8f Employees (including staff turnover and development)\xe2\x97\x8f Facility (including Quality Assurance: Maintaining GMP/HACCP) Requirements & Person Specifi cations\xe2\x97\x8f Solid understanding of manufacturing, engineering and operations.
