Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Communications and PR this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field. About the Corporate Communications Manager (Tourism Retail) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for leading the organisation\'s communications team and developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies for the organisation to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and mission. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and proofread all written materials, which include (but not limited to): department reports, resort living articles and messages, preparation of speeches for the Chairman, President and other members of senior management, external letters, interdepartmental memos and other business correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, press releases
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of department and corporate information for corporate collaterals, reports, publications and information published on the company\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external channels
  • Plan, coordinate and organise various corporate/special/ad hoc events
  • Manage, review and monitor the company\xe2\x80\x99s customer experience and satisfaction system as well as prepare presentation slides or reports with regards to this system
  • Act as a brand guardian to ensure all usage of corporate materials is in accordance with the corporate guidelines to maintain a consistent corporate image and branding
  • Plan, manage and lead the company\xe2\x80\x99s G3 employee programmes
  • Monitor, manage and execute community initiatives/programmes related to sustainability
  • Prepare content for community engagement section in the sustainability report on an annual basis
  • Handle crisis management matters including crisis communication and reviewing the guideline or content of the SOP
  • Lead the department\xe2\x80\x99s risk assessment reporting and any other regulatory requirements of the department
  • Oversee the workflow and work assignments of the corporate communications team to ensure effective collaboration among team members and consistent quality work
To succeed in the Corporate Communications Manager (Tourism Retail) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix. Key Requirements:
  • Work experience of 8 - 10 years in corporate communications management
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communications, public relations or a similar field
  • Experienced in crisis communications management and have the tenacity to craft clear and sharp messages, FAQs and responses in crisis situations
  • Strategic communication skills with strong writing skills to craft press releases, media FAQs, senior management messages, internal and external communications
  • Exceptional English writing and editing skills
  • Established contacts with media is an added bonus
  • Events management
