Position overview

Are you someone who is analytical and passionate about data analysis? We are looking for a competent Cost Accountant who is interested to advance skills in the costing area. As a Cost Accountant, you will perform monthly standard costs calculation and identify cost-effective improvements.

Responsibilities
-Oversee cost accounting functions including product costing and standard costing.
-Identify and resolve errors in systems and master data (e.g. BOMs and routings).
-Perform communication with various internal and external stakeholders for standard cost related issues and month-end closing activities .
-Support General Ledgers by conducting necessary tasks to close ERP sub-ledgers.
-Perform reconciliations with regular follow up as well as to resolve reconciliation differences when needed.

Required skills and experience
-1-2 years of professional working experience in the field of Finance or costing.
-Proficiency with MS Office and Excel Advanced.
-Experience with ERP systems are added advantage.
-Fluency in written and spoken English is a must; Mandarin speaking is an added advantage.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to meet strict deadlines with accuracy.
-Detailed oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
-Great Team Player.
-Able to work independently.

Qualifications
-Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
