Position: Cost & Contracts Specialist/ QS (Interior Design & Build)

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a

detail-oriented and proactive

Cost & Contracts Specialist/ QS to join their dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in

cost estimation, tendering, and project cost control

within the interior design, renovation, or construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

quotations, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates

for interior design and renovation projects. Source, evaluate, and negotiate

supplier and vendor quotations

to ensure cost efficiency. Monitor and manage

project budgets, cost control, and expenditure tracking

throughout all project phases. Prepare and process

progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts

. Assist in

tender preparation and evaluation

, including price analysis and comparisons. Conduct

site visits

to verify work progress and ensure cost compliance with actual site conditions. Collaborate closely with

designers, project managers, contractors, and suppliers

to address cost-related matters. Provide

cost advice during design development

to support decision-making and value engineering. Maintain

accurate documentation

and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in

Quantity Surveying, Construction Management

, or a related field.

1-5 years

of relevant experience in interior design, renovation, or contractor/builder environments focusing on interiors. Proficient in

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

; knowledge of

AutoCAD or QS software

is an added advantage. Strong

numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills

.

Detail-oriented

, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines. Good command of

English and Mandarin

for effective communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Remuneration:

Junior QS (1-2 years):

SGD 2,800 - 3,500 per month

Mid-Level QS (3-5 years):

SGD 4000 - 5,000 per month Singapore statutory contributions apply.

Working Days:

Monday to Saturday (5.5 days per week, 44 hours total)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
