Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional counselling sessions to student regarding social, academic, or personal circumstances, individuals and groups as required.
• Providing students with support and guidance on how to deal with problems.
• Contribute at developing policies and procedures related to the operations of the counselling and welfare/wellbeing services.
• Mediating and improving relationships between students, parents, and teachers.
• Conducting assessments to determine students\' strengths, weaknesses, interests, and aptitudes.
• Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people
• Maintain proper records and, manage confidential case-notes, database, statistics and other relevant information.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s/Master\'s Degree majoring in Psychology, Counselling or its equivalent.
• Must registered with the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia.
• Understands of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues of children and young people .
• Aware of needs of people from diverse ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds.
• Able to deal with critical matters or crisis without prejudice.
• Shows an ability to work with highly confidential matters or case-notes.
• Able to communicate and interact well with people of all levels.
• Mature and sensitive to student\xe2\x80\x99s needs and concerns.

Job Type: Permanent Salary: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Benefits:
