Report to Regional Vice President, and functional report to Regional Controller, the Country Controller for Malaysia,

• Manage month end closing of the companies in Malaysia (consolidation is not required)
• Manage the Accounting Teams which are located in Penang, Kuala Lumper, and Johor Bahru, which provide support to branch operation
• Manage cash flow and monitor AR
• Manage payroll taxes, employee shares, and IRB submissions.
• Coordinate and monitor budget of the companies
• Analysis & report financial and operating metrics
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws and regulations
• Streamline workflow and manage process change
• Handle external reporting, taxation, liaise with tax advisors, company secretary, lawyer, auditors
• 20% travelling within Malaysia is required

Qualifications

• ACCA Qualified or equivalent
• 10 to 15 years of experience in Auditing and Accounting in Malaysia
• Prefer to have Big 4 experience and MNC background
• Prefer to have experience with logistic company
• Have experience in managing accounting team of at least 10 staff
• Hands-on and with Computer Literacy
