The CP/SC Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Materials Data Operations have the opportunity to maintain and develop master data required to procure materials and services consumed by various Shell Assets in different lines of businesses including upstream, downstream, and integrated gas assets. This position will primarily deal with data cleanse operation for Supply chain data (Materials Data) for various Shell assets.

You will work with a diverse and multinational team across different functions such as C&P Operations, IT, Finance, Operations and maintenance, External SAP consultants etc. You will be a part of this \xe2\x80\x9conce in a generation opportunity\xe2\x80\x9d to overhaul the master data set up for SHELL Assets supply chain data to make the procurement and inventory management process more efficient with the end objective that right materials and services are available at the right time and at the lowest cost.

As CP/SC Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Materials Data Operations, you are expected to:

Partner with Project management teams, CP in the business, Suppliers, Ops and maintenance teams and other functional teams to ensure business requirements are met within target timelines

Support Data cleanse project manager with project management activities such as developing execution plan, monitoring, and reporting progress, risk management, stakeholder engagement etc.

Execute data cleanse work and ensure operationalisation of new data designs that can eliminate waste, transform towards MSC future vision. Ensure disciplined daily execution of operational data processes across e2e CP to enable improvement and optimisation of supply chains.

Leads root cause analysis, exceptions reporting and engages in operational reviews meeting with CP Leads to jointly prioritise, resolve and perform better as an E2E unit together with CP Leads

Highlight key issues and delivery risks to the project manager on time.

Continuously communicate with all stakeholders at different levels to apprise them of progress and challenges and seek collaborative solutions.

Identify areas for improvement, including root cause analysis, exceptions identification and ideas for improvement and play active leadership role in improvement projects

Demonstrate process expertise and business acumen with ability to play the role as the senior Contracts & Procurement Data expert for a particular business unit

Special Challenges (Complexity):

Has capacity and curiosity to understand business requirements, how the \xe2\x80\x98business works\xe2\x80\x99, what data means to supply chains and actionable outcomes to enable step change towards \xe2\x80\x9cData as an Asset\xe2\x80\x9d for whole of SC/CP.

Diverse virtual stakeholders across various functions and various locations.,

Communicate effectively with partners who may not fully understand the Supply chain Data details, complexity, and value creation potential.

Work with scope that may constantly change or evolve. Change management as a skill would be required.

Work under tight timelines and with challenging stakeholders.

May work in different shifts to cater to the different time zones of the stakeholders including US time zones.

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering.

Minimum 3 yearsexperience with Materials master data in any ERP system (SAP experience) preferably oil and gas industry.

Experience with project management, data preparation and development for ERP system preferred.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and able to interact and influence others

Ability to multi-task, prioritise and ensure delivery of priorities, work without close supervision to deliver result

Knowledge and understanding of Supply chain processes.

Learners\xe2\x80\x99 mindset and ability to learn new skills and understand new systems in a short period of time.

Self-starter and ability to manage diverse cultural/ethnic sensitivities.

Strong results and achievement orientation, moving with speed in a fast-paced macro business environment.

Demonstrated curiosity on being business-backward, customer/user centricity, or CP/SC may be an advantage.

Experience across Data and familiarity with CP SC (materials management, warehouse, inventory etc.) preferred.
