Job description and responsibilities:

• Screening loan requests, evaluating clients\' financial information, assessing risk ratios, and presenting approved or rejected loans to management.
• Checking the needed financial documentation and assessing the clients\' creditworthiness.
• Assess clients\xe2\x80\x99 financial status
• Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
• Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.
• Perform credit checks such as CCRIS, CTOS, FIS or Fraud and escalate any potential hits.
• Approving or denying loan requests, and communicating your decision to the management.
• Maintaining records of loan applications by using loan management software.
• Ensuring that loan applications are in line with the company\'s financial policies, as well as state laws and regulations.
• To monitor collections from clients as well as new applications.
• Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests
• Maintain updated records of loan applications
• Diligence & timeliness in reviewing loan applications with standard compliance policies.
• Monitor progress of existing loans
• Perform day-end reconciliations
• To ensure confidentiality of all protected information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of science in accounting, finance, banking, business, or a similar field.
• A minimum of 2 years\' experience as a credit officer.
• Excellent knowledge of loan application procedures and best lending practices according to state laws and regulations.
• Strong Credit Processing and Assessment experience with a Bank / Financial Institution.
• Strong communication skills and proven customer service experience.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complicated financial data.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong ethical behavior and the ability to work with sensitive financial information.
• Possess own transport
