Job Description

Planning, Evaluation, and Implementation

Follow work orders from C&S Manager and End-User requirements. Evaluate, assess, and implement projects, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Prepare basic engineering drawings, materials take-offs, and BQ for RFQ.

Coordination and Communication

Conduct site briefings with contractors during RFQ and coordinate emergency rectification works. Liaise with End-User and internal departments (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Port) for maintenance improvements. Ensure smooth communication among staff.

Compliance and Safety

Ensure adherence to codes, legislation, procedures, ISO requirements, and safety protocols. Involve in Permit To Work (PTW) process and report issues/failures immediately.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation

Monitor C&S materials, inventory, infrastructure conditions, and wastage. Prepare project and maintenance records, progress reports, and presentations for meetings. Participate in weekly, monthly, and special project meetings regarding C&S requirements.

Cost Control and Project Support

Estimate and break down individual C&S project costs. Join site valuation with contractors for final measurement verification. Track and prioritize C&S maintenance schedules and support new plant construction projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Experience in preparing engineering drawings, materials take-offs, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for RFQ. Strong knowledge of civil and structural codes, legislation, and ISO standards. Proficient in project planning, monitoring, and reporting. Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize maintenance schedules.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
