The Role

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Culinary Department
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations by managing documentation, coordination, purchasing assistance, scheduling, and communication between culinary leadership, other departments, and relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare, update, and maintain all kitchen-related documents, including SOPs, checklists, training materials, recipe files, and inventory records
  • Coordinate daily kitchen schedules, duty rosters, and leave planning for culinary associates
  • Assist in organising internal meetings, briefings, training sessions, and related departmental activities
  • Support the planning and coordination of culinary events, dining promotions, festive celebrations, and special resort activities
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and all audit documentation requirements
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and communication on behalf of the Culinary Department in a timely and professional manner
  • Serve as a key liaison between the culinary team and other departments
  • Communicate important operational updates, schedules, and instructions to all kitchen teams promptly and accurately
  • Follow up on assigned action items and ensure timely completion to support smooth departmental operation
Talent Profile
  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality/Hotel/Restaurant Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Prior experience in a hotel or resort environment, particularly in administrative or F&B roles, is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organisation, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
