Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our data operations team. This role will support both

daily investment data processes

and

system transition projects

.

You'll assist in maintaining high-quality data, solving data-related issues, and helping with documentation and testing for new system processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Data Operations (Training Provided)

Help set up and update investment data such as fund names, tax rates, prices, and financial instruments. Check for missing or incorrect data and fix issues with guidance from the team. Support the pricing process and ensure correct and timely updates of market data. Learn to use tools like Aladdin and Eagle PACE to support business operations.

2. Performance Data Support

Assist in setting up benchmark data and maintaining performance-related records. Load and verify performance data for portfolios and benchmarks. Help maintain asset classifications and support vendor data checks.

3. Documentation Support

Help prepare documents such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), business requirements, and testing checklists. Join meetings with business users and vendors to take notes and support follow-up documentation.

4. System Transition Assistance

Assist in data gathering, testing, and validation during the rollout of new systems and processes. Participate in team activities related to parallel runs and go-live preparations.

Who We're Looking For:

Fresh graduates with a degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Data Science are welcome. Strong interest in investment operations and data management. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn financial systems. Able to communicate well, ask questions, and work as a team. Basic knowledge of Excel; bonus if familiar with financial concepts or data systems. This is a 1 year contract role.

Pay: RM4,200.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
