Role Responsibilities * Sourcing Support Manager who will be responsible for managing support for Enterprise Data Management Big Data platform in Hadoop. The candidate will be responsible for managing production support for sourcing of data in/out of Data Lake in Hadoop. The candidate will be responsible to partner with project team, product engineering team and business leads in ensuring the service levels are met and take end to end ownership of the Production support. The candidate will be responsible for acting on the functional/technical activities of assigned to him/co-staff including incident, problem, and change along with SLA management. ]

  • Highly developed skills in managing 24x7 production support comprising of Incident, Problem, Change management and other ITIL phases of production support
  • Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals
  • Ability to get to the heart of the problem and make sound and timely decisions to resolve problems
  • High severity incident management and situation management skills
  • Knowledge of project financial management
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and best practices including Waterfall Process, Agile methodologies, deployment automation, code reviews, and test driven development.
  • Ability to develop technical skills in coaching, mentoring, and teaching on the job to co-staff
  • Effectiveness in building trust, respect and cooperation among teams
  • Ability to manage senior relationships across all the Business and Functional areas
  • Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships
  • Ability to handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve conflicts and negotiate with others
  • Collaborative team player orientation towards work relationships, strong culture awareness
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data or production/project management and oversight experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in supporting solutions preferably in the big data world (on Hadoop & eco systems tools, Cloud data lake using Big data tools) or managed similar roles
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
  • Internally and externally recognized subject matter expert that influence the way things are done
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Certification in Hadoop, Big data tools & ITIL is desired
