JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Data Migration Analyst

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible to Develop, Analyse and Review all Data Migration aspects of the Project and ensure compliance to Technology Data Architecture Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Work with key stakeholders in gathering business requirements for data migration needs of the project.
Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process.
Work with Project SI to develop and review migration design & solution documents, which can include elements of ETL scripts and data mapping sheets
Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements.
Prepare data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.
Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping.
Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
Perform data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting.
To keep the migration activities of the project on track in terms of schedule and budget

Job Specification:

Qualifications (Basic Degree/Diploma etc.):

Bachelor\'s Degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience:

At least 5 years working experience in Data Migration, preferably involving a CRM system
At least 5 years working experience in banking related SaaS solution, preferably Microsoft D365 CRM system

Technical/Functional Skills:

Strong technical background in Data Migration, ETL scripting and Data Mapping
In-depth knowledge of consumer banking products and services will be an advantage.
Experience with large scale CRM transformation implementations is an added advantage
Experience with cloud native applications and serverless design is an advantage
Demonstrated portfolio of work showcasing technical competence.
