Job Description
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database systems including
Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MariaDB, Yugabyte, and PostgreSQL
Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues Perform database tuning, query optimization, and index management Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Ensure high availability, replication, and clustering where required Manage database security, access controls, encryption, and compliance requirements Collaborate with application developers to design efficient database schemas and data models Support database migrations, upgrades, and platform modernization initiatives Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts and monitoring tools Provide 24/7 production support as needed, including on-call rotation Document database architectures, standards, and operational proceduresJob Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From RM10,000.00 per month
