Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Database Administrator Specialist
to manage, optimize, and maintain our enterprise database systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security across multiple database platforms while supporting development and operational teams.Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain database systems ensuring
security and high availability
. Set and enforcedatabase policies, standards, and best practices
. Assist the application development team in refininglogical and physical data models
. Monitor andtune database performance
. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolvedatabase errors and issues
. Design, manage, and testdatabase backup and recovery procedures
. Work acrossLinux and Windows environments
to support database operations.Qualifications & Requirements:
Extensive experience with:
MS SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL
. Strong command ofSQL
and DBA tools. Solid understanding ofdatabase modeling and architecture
. Familiarity withscripting tools
(Unix scripts, Windows PowerShell). Knowledge of programming languages:Java, .NET, Node.js
is a plus. Minimum6 years of experience
working as a DBA. Strong problem-solving skills and ability towork independently
. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
Experience:
Java, .NET, Node.js: 2 years (Preferred) DBA: 2 years (Preferred) MS SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL.: 1 year (Required) SQL and DBA tools.: 2 years (Preferred) database modeling and architecture: 2 years (Preferred) scripting tools (Unix scripts, Windows PowerShell).: 2 years (Preferred)
