Position Overview:As a Delivery Driver's Assistant, you will work alongside a driver to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers. Your role is crucial in supporting the driver in navigating routes, loading and unloading items, and providing excellent customer service.Responsibilities: * Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
- Navigate driving routes efficiently to reach destinations on time.
- Ensure all delivered items match the accompanying paperwork and are in good condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and helpful during deliveries.
- Help in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow safety procedures and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any issues or incidents to the delivery driver or supervisor promptly.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
