Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
Assist the Chef in managing the assigned section (grill, sauce, pastry, etc.).
Ensure all ingredients are prepared and stocked before service (mise en place).
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Report any equipment faults or kitchen issues to the Executive Chef.
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Minimize food wastage through proper handling, portioning, and storage.
Support training and guidance of Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
Work as a team to ensure timely and smooth kitchen operations during service.
