to lead the culinary operations of our upcoming hotel project in
Pudu, Kuala Lumpur
(official hotel name to be announced soon). This position offers the opportunity to be part of the
pre-opening team
and to shape the kitchen operations from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid experience in hotel or large-scale F&B environments, and a proven ability to maintain high culinary standards while managing cost and efficiency.
This vacancy is a pre-screening process, project will estimate to start on January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items according to standard recipes.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas and equipment.
Support senior chefs in daily operations and mise-en-place preparation.
Comply with all food safety and hygiene procedures.
Requirements
Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen hygiene.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Base Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
