Understand that this is important position and conduct yourself at all time in a manner befitting the post. \xc2\xb7 Understand your legal responsibilities in practice, play and travel \xc2\xb7 Be abreast of developments in terms of the game of cricket \xc2\xb7 Create and facilitate training sessions to develop players. \xc2\xb7 Focus on the development of batting, bowling and fielding skills. \xc2\xb7 Provide technical coaching and support where required to all players \xc2\xb7 Attend all matches, providing support for players during each tournament. \xc2\xb7 Assist players in-game strategy development and implementation. \xc2\xb7 Directly liaise with players on a regular basis regarding their progress, injury rehabilitation, club, state commitments and or national commitments \xc2\xb7 Promote cricket within MCA Cricket Academy \xc2\xb7 Encourage students to achieve in the sport of cricket. \xc2\xb7 Attendance at interstate NSCA Cricket matches as required. \xc2\xb7 Oversee use and care of cricket equipment in conjunction with MCA Cricket Academy \xc2\xb7 Liaise with the MCA Cricket Academy regarding issues as they arise \xc2\xb7 Liaise with Cricket Teacher in charge of cricket to oversee all cricket administration.
The vision of Malaysian Cricket is to be a major sport in Malaysia. To achieve this vision, Malaysian Cricket has established a grassroot development program called Adiwira Cricket which is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia. This program is spread throughout 1600 schools in Malaysia, in both primary and secondary level. Since its launch in 2018, and through more than 10 years of collaboration with the ministries, Adiwira Cricket has a participation of more than 50,000 school children and close to 2000 cricket teachers.The Senior Men\xe2\x80\x99s national team is ranked 28 while the Senior Women\xe2\x80\x99s team is ranked at 38 by International Cricket Council. This is a great achievement for Malaysia and all the national players have very good experience in managing their mental and physical fitness, game skills as well as pursue higher education in the course of their choice. Both the national teams, Men and Women, have been successful at winning tournaments spanning the last 15 years. Of special note is our success at the 2017 SEA Games where the Men\xe2\x80\x99s team won Gold and Silver in 50Overs and T20 formats respectively, while the Women\xe2\x80\x99s team won Bronze in the T20 format contributing to Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s medal count. We are proud to say that all our national cricket athletes will be an asset to any organization, bringing in discipline, competitive edge, fair play and a high regard for good conduct.
