Job Summary

• As a Development Lead for equities products across Private Bank and Wealth Management segments, you will drive requirements on all initiatives related to Equities product stream. This will range from strategic platform roll out across global locations, to incremental improvements as needed by the business for specific region / market.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users from Product Owner, front office, dealing, middle office, operations, compliance, risk, as well as key technology stakeholders to help deliver technology solutions for the Private Bank & Wealth Management segments across the equity platform
• Apply front-to-back knowledge of securities while designing and delivering optimal solutions. Understand and work around restrictions and support management in the decision-making process through design thinking and offering different options
• Deliver business requirements, process mapping, functional specifications, integration requirements and specification in accordance with the Agile project management methodologies. Ensure alignment between technology and business teams during development and testing phases though to deployment
• Assist with training and rollout of enhancements to dealers, relationship managers and investment advisors

Mandatory Skills

• Frameworks - Spring, Spring boot, Spring batch, ReactJS,DB-SQL Server
• Over 10 years of working experience in software development, full stack development is preferred
• Well versed with API gateways like KongGateway
• Technical Stack: Java, Spring, database (Oracle/ SQL Server/ PostgreSQL) REST APIs, ReactJS
• Technical Tools: Confluence/Jira/Bitbucket or Git, CI/CD (Maven, Git, Jenkins), Development IDE such as Eclipse, Intelij IDEA or VS Code
• Cloud: Well versed with migrating applications from on-premises to cloud -AWS, Strong on IaC \xe2\x80\x93 terraforms, Ansible
• Understanding of cyber security \xe2\x80\x93 risks and their mitigations
• Agile development experience
• Hands-on working experience in release management and providing technical support (PSS)

• Understand Private and Retail product business context, and associated challenges
• Consistently puts the user and usability requirements on top of thought and design process. Challenges the existing conventions and requirements in a smart way. Thoroughly thinks through the pros and cons of the different options and engage the stakeholders in positive, effective communication
• Able to work independently taking full accountability for end to end project delivery and managing senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of Database queries, scripting
• Ability to devise some quick tools such as macro enabled excel for some quick POC\xe2\x80\x99s
• Open to upskilling by learning newer concepts and functionalities as required

Qualification
