If you are looking for an interesting role in a dynamic and diverse group, join us in our APAC region.We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.Job Purpose:As a proactive member of the Corporate Finance Infrastructure team, the Director leads and drives Corporate Finance and Treasury Infrastructure for the DHL Group. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance Infrastructure, they serve as a key advisor on IT and finance processes for multiple business divisions. The role entails managing relationships with business units, functional units, and banking partners, resolving critical and complex issues, and implementing sustainable digital solutions in a timely manner. Highly motivated and self-directed, the Director influences and challenges the existing Corporate Finance IT landscape and business processes to drive financial performance and change.Responsibilities encompass all Corporate Finance Infrastructure activities, including steering and managing the Corporate Finance IT landscape, project management, implementing best practice finance technologies, and optimizing lean management and workflows. Additionally, the Director leads global integration efforts for business process quality and improvement, ensuring alignment with global strategy, business objectives, and Group policies. They oversee IT business systems analysts to tailor information systems to user needs and industry standards, while also providing strategic direction for Treasury management, optimizing cash flow, funding, and financial risk.Your tasks:

  • Implement best practices in finance technologies to optimize workflows, reduce manual interventions, and enhance treasury operations.
  • Develop strategies for improving finance processes such as reporting or workflows for key financial applications.
  • Regularly assess technological innovations in the treasury market, coordinating closely with the business on tender management (business requirement statements, POC, RFP).
  • Oversee the design, enhancement, and management of system interfaces, predominantly APIs, to ensure smooth integration and interoperability across various financial systems and applications.
  • Independently manage and coordinate cross-divisional projects with other group entities.
  • Provide system support for financing measures (e.g., bonds, loans, commercial paper, guarantees), as well as for valuation of financial instruments and implementation of hedging strategies.
  • Manage the entire system lifecycle, from the tender process to testing, implementation, system maintenance, decommission, and migration.
  • Project management incl. coordination internal and IT resources for a flawless execution of projects and delivering on-time, within scope and budget.
  • Steering and modernizing of existing IT landscape of Corporate Finance
  • BPO of all processes in Corporate Finance and other connected processes
  • Deploy digitalization roadmap and implementation of FinTechs
  • Simplification and automation of processes
  • Internal Control System
  • Data and reporting governance for Corporate Finance
  • Manage a department or a small unit that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leaders
Your profile:Education Level
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree
Experience Level
  • At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Corporate Finance and Treasury preferably with significant experience in MNCs with global presence and proven basic IT skills
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and urgency; a problem-solver who takes initiative and able to prioritize and execute tasks
  • Work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills, responsible and pay attention to the details and respect the deadline
  • Managerial team leadership experience and project management experience in an international environment
  • Strong collaboration and open mindedness skills are prerequisite
  • Team player with exceptional and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in English; proficiency in a second language (German, Spanish etc.) is an added advantage
  • Extensive professional experience in system operations, with a focus on application integration and system implementation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), TMS (FIS Quantum), BI environments, MS Power platform, and interface technology, ideally with finance-oriented applications.
  • Fundamental understanding of corporate finance and treasury processes, along with Treasury Management System (TMS) know-how.
  • Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Ability to think and act cross-departmentally and independently, along with a high level of flexibility and resilience.
  • Excellent project methodologies skills (agile, scrum, or waterfall) incl. communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
