Job Description

The role of a Director of Edge Solutions is to manage and lead a team of product managers who manages a portfolio of edge solution products distributed by the company. They perform a range of tasks to ensure profitable growth of their respective products and efficient stock management. These include implementing business strategies, optimizing working capital and profitability, evaluating new product or business opportunities, managing vendor relationships and supervising employees.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Edge Solution to lead and grow the Edge Solutions by meeting the expectations of both the vendors and company. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency use of resources and working capital as well as setting strategic goals for the future aligned to the company overall direction. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters business. They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company\'s vision and culture. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company\'s activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Develop goals, priorities, area of focus and strategies for Edge Solutions towards profitable growth and working capital optimization.
• Lead, guide and motivate a team of Business Managers and Product Managers to design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of company and vendors goals
• Maintain close relationships with all vendors and key partners clear understanding of their expectations.
• Constantly updated with market information from various sources and able to act quickly to market changes. Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable skilled resources to effectively deliver results.
• Keenly monitor performance benchmark in market share, profitability, inventory level and team\'s KPIs.
• Close collaboration and alignment of plans with internal sales team and regional business unit.
• Optimize each product in the portfolio to identify opportunities to grow or to discontinue.
• Act as the primary representative of the company in events, conferences etc for Edge Solution products.
• Ensure adherence to all legal rules and guidelines of the company

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as product management lead or relevant role in IT industry. Must have at least 7 years of managing a team of no less than 10 persons.
• Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail. Has good understanding of data analysis techniques and financials
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development.
• Able to effectively balance multiple priorities and keep pace with the fast-moving market.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and coaching skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Team player who collaborates well with others
