Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Director based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director - Head Of Cs, this full-time and permanent position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our corporate services and its\' growth.Key responsibilities:Operations/Functional Responsibilities:

  • To attend meetings whenever requried to do so even on the rest day and public holidays and/or out of town.
  • To ensure strict adherence to internal policies / SOPs by team members.
  • To identify and highlight potential risks to BUL and recommend / take appropriate actions when necessary.
  • To ensure timely billing (including the capture of all OPEs incurred) and collections.
  • To ensure best practice of corporate governance and compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • To ensure that all clients\' documents/records are properly filed in the statutory records at all times and to perform proper housekeeping of clients\' records.
  • To participate in recruitment interviews /exercise.
  • To perform appraisals on team members & to recommend their rewards cross appraisal of member of other team, if required/requested.
  • To conduct trainings or facilitate trainings as and when required/requested.
  • To convey strategies, policies and aspirations of Company to team members.
  • To meet potential clients and prepare proposals and quotations for new clients/propects.
  • Providing timely dissemination of information / messages from Senior Management to team members.
  • To assist/support Directors in their absence.
  • To ensure acknowledge receipt of client\'s request /queries/correspondences within 24 hours and answer not later than 2 working days.
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by Management.\\
P&L Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, leadership and supervision to team members.
  • Communicating the criteria and KPIs of the respective positions to team members.
  • Managing and measuring performance of team member.
  • Guiding and developing team members in attaining professional competence.
  • Effective utilization of team resources.
  • Training & development of team members, identifying relevant trainings inclusive counselling of team members.
People Management:
  • Consultation with CEO and Directors.
  • Reporting of Strategy Execution to CEO & Fellow Directors.
  • Coordination & Communication with other Divisions.
  • Assist CEO/ BUL in setting and implementation of strategies and policies of the CS Division.
  • Providing timely feedback and conveying staffs concerns/ requests to Senior Managers and Directors and possible solutions.
Clients Relationship:
  • Business development - securing new clients and seeking business opportunities.
  • Managing Client Relationships - maintaining good rapport with clients.
  • Ability to achieve Client Satisfaction & Retention
  • Assisting in Cross Selling Other Tricor Services
  • Providing deliverables to clients according to the scope of services.
  • Providing technical advisories, solutions and anticipate clients\'s needs.
Others:
  • Achieving budget set by Management - collections, billings and revenues.
  • Managing staff cost.
  • Able to seek opportunities to bill.
  • Ensuring fees quoted are guided by the adopted fee guide and / able to recover time costs.
Key requirements:
  • Must have at least 10 years relevant working experience in corporate secretarial.
  • An Affiliate Member of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (\xe2\x80\x9cMAICSA\xe2\x80\x9d) and is a Licensed Secretary by Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM).
  • Full ICSA qualification / graduate or possess bachelor\'s degree in Corporate Administration
  • Must have supervisory experience or had managed a team/group with at least 8 staff members
  • Experience in handling public listed companies will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge with Companies Acts, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, CS Guidelines and other related laws and regulations
  • Must possess good communications skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
  • Familiar with filing of statutory forms and Companies Acts
  • Willing to travel when and where required
