Job Summary:-

Provides guest services as well as supervision, direction and leadership in the Rooms Division in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by the Shangri-La Group.

Duties:-

  • Familiar with the operational systems of all departments in the Rooms Division.
  • Aligns management style, working practices and conduct with Shangri-La Group\'s vision, operating standards and policies.
  • Complies with Shangri-La Group\'s code of conduct at all times.
  • Prepares relevant reports required by RM/GM.
  • Reviews key assumptions and prepares budget on an annual basis.
  • Reviews and analyzes P&L and attends relevant meetings on a monthly basis.
  • Develops and implements action plans to maximize financial performance and profitability of the hotel.
  • Works and collaborates closely with other departments (Commercial Sales, Commercial Marketing, Revenue Optimization, Food & Beverage and etc) to deliver excellent service experience to our guests.
  • Cultivates the team cohesiveness within and among different divisions.
  • Leads the Special Projects Team of FL15 (Front Office), WAGs (Housekeeping), and etc to improve and enhance our guests overall staying experience.
  • Involves with the analysis of the data in Medallia (Guests Experience & Feedback System) and GReAT (Defects Tracking) platforms with Quality Improvement Champion.
  • Ensures the execution of the improvement action plan based on the data consolidated in the quality assurance platforms are effective and impactful.
  • Monitors, guides and coaches colleagues for performance improvement and individual career development.
  • Uplifts and trains colleagues in technical and soft skills.
  • Embraces the continuous learning culture and supports all initiatives in colleagues\' learning and development.
  • Provides support and ensures the progression of the Individual Development Plan (IDP) of high potential colleagues in the division.
Requirements:-
  • Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in an international hotel group, in a similar capacity.
  • Self-driven, people and goal-oriented.
  • Optimistic and great motivator.
  • Creative and innovative, always think out-of-the-box and challenge the status quo.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times.
