  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with organizational goals, implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets for the MICE segment.
  • Identify and target potential clients within within the corporate, association, and event planning sectors and maintain strong relationships.
  • Actively prospect and qualify leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives, themes, and key messages.
  • To create bespoke experiences for our clients based on their requirements and ensure all events are executed as planned. Serves as the main point of contact for clients.
  • To facilitate site visits for VIPs, clients and other guests as required and providing recommendations and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and liaise with hotel operations on client\'s accommodation, F&B, conference venue, equipment & facilities, team building and transportation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proposing customized solutions.
  • To promote all MICE facilities at Resorts World Genting, Awana, Kijal and Langkawi for the MICE clients, new and existing.
  • To prepare proposals, contracts, and other necessary documents for MICE events.
  • To conduct thorough post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and internal stakeholders and making recommendations to improve event processes.
  • Assist the Head of MICE in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead the events team, prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals with clients to meet and exceed sales targets, providing guidance as well as support and mentorship.
  • Provide regular reports, manage event budgets and making recommendations improve event processes.
  • Work with marketing to develop compelling sales materials and strategies tailored to the events market.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales pipeline development, conversion rates, revenue forecasts and hotel occupancy.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and other events to promote MICE product and services and expand our network.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance sales strategies.
