-Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with organizational goals,
implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets for the MICE segment.
-Identify and target potential clients within within the corporate, association, and event planning sectors and maintain strong relationships.
-Actively prospect and qualify leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.
-Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understandevent objectives, themes, and key messages.
-To create bespoke experiences for our clients based on their requirements and ensure all events are executed as planned. Serves asthe main point of contact for clients.
-To facilitate site visits for VIPs, clients and other guests as required andproviding recommendations and cost estimates.
-Coordinate and liaise with hotel operations on client\xe2\x80\x99s accommodation, F&B, conference venue, equipment & facilities, team building and transportation.
-Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proposing customized solutions.
-To promote all MICE facilities at Resorts World Genting, Awana, Kijal and Langkawi for the MICE clients, new and existing.
-To prepare proposals, contracts, and other necessary documents for MICE events.
-To conduct thorough post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and internal stakeholders and making recommendations to improve event processes.
-Assist the Head of MICE in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
-Lead the events team,
prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals with clients to meet and exceed sales targets, providing guidance as well as support and mentorship.
-Provide regular reports, manage event budgets and making recommendations improve event processes.
-Work with marketing to develop compelling sales materials and strategies tailored to the events market.
-Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales pipeline development, conversion rates, revenue forecasts and hotel occupancy.
