Reporting into Veolia WTS\' Senior Director, APAC Region, this key regional role will oversee a team of Procurement professionals who are accountable for $120MM of Veolia WTS spend across the SEA - Oceania Region.In partnership with internal functional stakeholders and business partners, the Regional Procurement Director is responsible for leading overall procurement activities in the region comprising of Chemicals, Projects, Products, Services and Indirect Procurement. This leader will work closely with commercial, P& L, supply chain, finance & other functional leadership teams and will be accountable for all procurement related deliverables in the SEA - Oceania region. This role will influence and collaborate
with regional stakeholders and supply base to develop/deploy a regional procurement strategy in alignment with the Global Category Management team.Key Characteristics:

\xef\x82\xb7 Expertise in procurement sub-functions and water treatment technologies.Duties & Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Leadership & Culture
o Lead and develop a high performing Procurement team by attracting, developing and retaining the best talent.
o Collaborate and partner with the Procurement Leadership Team and cross functional regional & global functions to create a best-in-class Procurement organization in the SEA - Oceania region.o Establish regular communication & operating mechanisms with the regional business and supply-base stakeholders to drive financial and functional metrics.
o Represent regional business needs to global Procurement leadership while helping translate global strategies to executable plans in the region.\xef\x82\xb7 Financial Metrics
o Deliver EBIT improvement for the region while mitigating market risks via focus on top line growth and bottom-line.
o Develop and implement regional procurement synergies across the organization.\xef\x82\xb7 Procurement Operations
o Deliver on regional commitments (Project Execution, Fulfillment, On Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, BCC/Localization, etc.).
o Drive Procurement initiatives in accordance with Category Management strategy (Preferred Supplier Network, business allocation, supplier consolidation, sole source reduction, risk mitigation, etc.).
o Drive compliance to \'Procure to Pay\' policies & procedures.
o Enable digitization while adapting the usage of data analytics and digital solutions in the region in accordance with Procurement\'s global digital strategy.
o Promote Supplier Diversity & Sustainability.Required Skills:
\xef\x82\xb7 Good leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and lead a regional group in a unified direction with a common vision, and ability to influence business leaders and executives.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to translate global strategies to valuable outcomes for the business and to adjust the strategies to the local business and market conditions when required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Sense of accountability and ownership, ability to cope with regional complexity in a fast-paced work environment.
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent verbal/written communication and proven interpersonal skills, capable of developing presentations, and comfortable interacting with internal/external stakeholders and Veolia WTS senior management.Qualifications\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or any other related field.
\xef\x82\xb7 15 years\' experience in increasing roles in Procurement & Supply Chain function in several types of industries, with regional/global leadership and knowledge of business strategy, procurement strategy & processes, category management and overall execution of procurement KPIs.
