JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

The incumbent is responsible for leading Abbott Nutrition\xe2\x80\x99s supply chain operations from demand planning to order fulfillment. He/she ensures the effective and efficient execution of daily and long-term operation, including but not limited to project management, demand planning, supply planning, importations, third party manufacturing, customer service, inventory management, and warehousing and distribution.

As a key leader in the organization, the incumbent is expected to lead supply chain strategic initiatives and best practices to support business strategy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive forecast accuracy through effective demand planning processes and data optimization
• Direct supply planning strategies, initiatives and methodologies to optimize inventory levels
• Ensure compliance to product quality and safety standards, policies and procedures and specifications for raw materials, productions processes and finished goods inventory
• Manage full monthly supply situation and optimize supply utilization to ensure that sales targets and customer demands are met
• Development of contingency plans to manage identified gaps in supply chain.
• Develops Manufacturing/Distribution models to assess their impact to business strategies and annual plans.
• Direct the third party manufacturing activities to ensure the availability of quality outsourced stocks to meet demand
• Implement new technologies to implement efficiencies in supply chain operations
• Deliver Supply Chain KPIs
• Manage the budget of Supply Chain operations
• Lead initiatives to realize cost savings and improve margins
• Build and develop a high performing Supply Chain Operations team

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Management, Industrial Management or Management Engineering preferred but not required
