Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and programs.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal occupational health and safety regulations.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and track corrective actions.
Deliver health and safety training and awareness sessions to employees and contractors.
Maintain and update safety documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), permits, and risk registers.
Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
Coordinate and facilitate safety committee meetings and audits.
Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees and encouraging safe work practices.
Monitor contractors' compliance with safety requirements on-site.
Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports and metrics to management.
