Responsible for the E&I, SIS, and automation of maintenance and project activities in the Polymer Dispersion Plant (PDP).
Responsible for the stability and continuation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) in Polyline 1, Polyline 2, and RTO unit for the sustainability of safe production operation in maintaining more than 2,000 IOs and instruments.
Responsible for performing pro-active and initiative E&I, SIS, and automation maintenance activities in the Polymer Dispersion Plant (PDP).
Responsible for maintaining 55 at E&I, SIS, and automation related workplaces.

We are looking for a competent person with experiences in electrical, instrumentation and industrial automation to join our team, which is specialize in EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) job scope. The primary responsibility is to participate in the process plant projects (new and expansion).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct troubleshooting electrical equipment such as sensors, transmitters, pumps, motors, inverters and etc of an Advanced Gasification Waste-to-Energy Plant
Conduct electrical testing and inspection of existing plant wiring, instrumentation, and electrical apparatus
Involve in hands-on wiring work
To support all electrical, instrumentation & industrial automation related job scope
To provide engineering design and project execution
To coordinate with procurement team to acquire quotation from various suppliers and to conduct careful and thorough evaluation of selected equipment
To coordinate and monitor the project engineering and delivery schedule
To compile technical documentation and manuals for plant installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance
To supervise installation and support commissioning activities and plant start-up
To maintain safety and health with zero LTI at all times.
To lead execution team & shift team and well coordination with Planners and Inspection team.
To maintain the day to day electrical and instrument function in order to ensure efficient plant operation.
To train and coach the subordinates greater team spirit and disciplines.
To maintain plant electrical, instrumentation and control in tip-top condition at all times.
To implement small improvement projects so as to reduce the frequency of breakdown and maintenance cost.
To provide training to member of the staffs for better workmanship through hands-on demonstrations.
To carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management.
To ensure all plant instrument is functioning well.
To support and assist Supervisor to troubleshoot, monitor, inspect and maintain all instrument equipment.
Design, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or system for industrial, commercial or domestic purposes.
Conferring with customers, engineers, consultants and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that all installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings or topographical maps.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects.
Assist to prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automation/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of working experience with minimum of 2 years' experience in Chemical Process Industry.
Have strong fundamentals in engineering.
Possesses Continuous improvement techniques and methods including, overall asset effectiveness, problem solving.
Has experience in distributing control system operations / safety instrumented system functions (SIS) for enhanced safety of the operations.
Knowledge in PLC system will be an added advantage
Willing to work for long hours and working on shifts, if required
Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Possess own transport & Able to traveling *when required
2 years to 5 years of working experiences in site supervision/testing & commissioning. For those who are diploma holder, 8 years to 10 years of working experiences is required.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
