Job Title: EIP Senior Developer / Programmer Cum Analyst

:

The purpose of this role is to provide technical support for the Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) managed by Technology Division, Client. This role is responsible to support system analysis and design, documentation, programming of EIP components, database management, testing, DevOps and any other tasks relevant to the implementation of IT applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Technology Division Architects, Application Developers, System Designers, Business Analysts, Business Users and Vendors to understand the requirements to support and maintain efficient IT applications for the business.
To identify, plan, formulate and execute integration strategies based on business & IT requirements and align with industry standards.
To work directly with external customers and interface with other Client internal and external project stakeholders and vendors.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders highlighting any risks or blockers with recommendations to remediate and work around identified issues.
To provide feedback to technical architecture related activities and to lead technical & functional discovery sessions for future enhancement.
Ensuring that best practices in integration processes are followed by the developers.
Able to lead a team of developer to provide and implement technical solution based upon requirements provided.
Adheres to the Software Development Life Cycle methodology for development and maintenance activities.
Proactively exhibit and apply high level of attentiveness to responsibilities and work assignments.
Any other relevant assignment by the Team Lead / Head of Department.

Qualifications:

Good in written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent, in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in API/Batch File/Application design, development, testing, and support utilizing the software below:
IBM API Connect
IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
IBM DataPower Gateway
FileBarista (added advantage)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer team lead on enterprise-level projects, preferably in financial sector.
Strong analytical skills and drive to learn new things.
Working experience in Oracle and MSSQL databases will be an added advantage.
Possess knowledge of developing, troubleshooting, and supporting web applications using a variety of web technologies.
Knowledge in Enterprise Integration Patterns.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, API design principle & Agile integration concept.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite. Able to develop good technical documentation for the team.
Dedicated and proactive team player with the ability to deliver under pressure and perform within tight deadlines.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Able to provide good technical solutions for any requirements or troubleshooting issues encountered.
Basic knowledge of containerized software applications and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge in OpenAPI specification development
Knowledge in configuring API security definitions including authentication and OAuth configurations.
Knowledge in CSV and ISO 8583 data modelling using DFDL
In-depth knowledge of standards/technologies that enable messaging, including XML, WSDL, SOAP, MQ, REST, JSON, HTTP, JDBC, ODBC, FTP and SSL
Experience in designing APIs, managing API lifecycles, and securing APIs using IBM API Connect.
Experience in configuring, administering, developing, deploying, and troubleshooting integration solution with IBM App Connect Enterprise.
Experience in using App Connect Enterprise toolkit for developing message flow, defining message sets, and create message transformation with ESQL, XSL, GUI Mapper and JavaCompute node.
Digital Badge or certification earner in IBM App Connect Enterprise & IBM API Connect will be an added advantage.
