Job Description

Summary:
Assist in maintaining and minimizing machine downtime, and perform regular service and maintenance works for factory operations and all building facilities.
Responsibilities:
Check and inspect electrical facilities, machines and equipment to ensure that they are well functioning and safe for operations.
Perform regular service and maintenance works for factory operations and building facilities.
Assist in sourcing and coordination with contractors for any electrical or facilities upgrading works.
Assist in troubleshooting, electrical faults or problems, repairing, servicing, maintenance and installation work.
Properly record all machines' maintenance and repair records.
Timely taking meter readings for low tension to monitor the electrical consumption.
Take meter readings for water consumption weekly.
To check air compressor condition daily and its maintenance.
Perform maintenance service timely for air conditioning, firefighting system, water pump, vacuum pump, dust collector and etc.
Keep a stock list for machine parts and accessories accurately.
Proactively suggest ideas for problem-solving and/or improvement plan.
Assist safety & health officers to coordinate safety activities and enforcing safety rules and regulations
Assist in conducting internal audits for occupational safety & health, fire safety, and ISO.
Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the immediate Superior from time to time.

Requirements:
Possess at least an AO Chargeman Certificate issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia.
Candidates with relevant working experience in manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
Good troubleshooting, proactive and problem-solving skills, resourceful, attention to detail, and with a sense of urgency.
Good communication skills, ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in MS. Office i.e. Word, and Excel.
Physically fit and willing to work at odd hours, especially during holidays, weekends, and after office hours, and attend to call back for maintenance as and when necessary.
