Our Graduate Programme consists of two-three rotations, where you\xe2\x80\x99ll solve business challenges, take responsibility for your own assignments, and engage in our day-to-day business decisions. In your first rotation, you\xe2\x80\x99ll join Electrical System Design & Grid Integration and work on the electrical system design of our offshore wind farm transmission systems. You\xe2\x80\x99ll develop an optimised electrical system solution using advance system simulation software, conduct system design studies, and test the effects of different configurations and events on the system, and bring value to the entire project. The second rotation is in the HVDC & Grid Stabilizing Equipment team, where you\xe2\x80\x99ll be introduced to engineering tasks related to HVDC equipment, energy storage systems, and tate-of-the-art grid stability solutions. We\xe2\x80\x99re involved in all stages of our offshore wind projects, providing a unique perspective on interdisciplinary collaboration in wind farm design and construction. Your third rotation will be based on your development path and interest. You\xe2\x80\x99ll play an important role in:

  • developing the electrical system design of wind farms with regards to interconnection requirements and coordinating between external and internal stakeholders
  • ensuring that the electrical design is compliant with the interconnection codes and standards, and for transferring technical requirements back to the design teams
  • supporting projects and business development opportunities in the APAC market
  • performing the power system simulations and analysis in software tools, such as PSS/e, PowerFactory, and PSCAD, as a key means of supporting the tasks.
To succeed in this role, you:
  • have graduated with a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical engineering or a related field before 1 September 2024
  • have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
  • speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently
  • have a strong analytical approach, enabling you to handle a range of complex tasks effectively
  • are self-motivated, a quick learner, and enjoy meeting new people
  • can engage with business stakeholders and adapt to a commercial mindset.
