Job Description

• Preferably Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) certification / SKM holder or its equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of proven working experience as an Electrical Project Supervisor or similar role.

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, strong leadership and team management skills.

• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment & tools and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

• Able to simplify technical terms for the benefit of other non-technical stakeholders

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations and attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).

• Proficiency with Malay and English written and spoken language.

• Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation for work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities and provide technical guidance and training to the electrical team.

• Assist Engineer or Project Manager to planning and schedule electrical projects tasks to the team members.

• Assist Engineer review electrical drawings, specifications, and project plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility to meet (Material Spec, Method Statement, etc).

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and records of electrical work.

• Maintain inventory of electrical equipment, tools, and supplies.

• Monitoring build progress, preparing sites before construction work begins, supervising contractor teams, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to ensure timely completion.

• Assist Engineer call on all project meetings among project team members, subcontractors.

• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to standards and specifications and ensure technical proposals comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
