Employment Screening Officer
. This role is an integral part of the talent acquisition process, responsible for conducting thorough background checks and verifications to ensure the reliability and integrity of candidate information. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct employment reference checks via phone and email.
? Perform database screening and searches for verification and background purposes.
? Verify educational credentials by contacting institutions via phone and email.
? Accurately input and manage data collected during background checks.
? Organize, compile, and generate clear and concise reports for clients and candidates.
? Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests.
? Execute any additional background check tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications:
? 1 to 3 years' HR experience. Employment screening or background verification experience is a strong advantage.
? Minimum SPM Certificate with a Credit Score in the Chinese Language although higher qualification is preferred.
? Possession of a university degree is an advantage.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
? Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
? Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
? IT savvy with proficiency in using office productivity softwares (e.g. MS Office, Smartsheets, email).
? Ability in handling data processing tasks efficiently.
