The IP Enforcement Executive is responsible for detecting and preventing infringements, conducting investigations, collaborating with authorities, and engaging in educational advocacy. They will collaborate with legal teams, law enforcement agencies, and external parties to ensure the protection of intellectual property assets . Main duties and responsibilities would include Liaising with enforcement authorities on issues relating IP infringement including lodging complaints; Attending, coordinating and facilitating raid actions and preparing raid report; Attending to post-raid responsibilities such as verification of seized goods and preparing verification report; Analysing first information reports and conducting inquiries online and offline; Coordinating with private investigators and informants on investigative and surveillance works; Organising product trainings and advocacy events/meetings related to IP issues; Assist in identifying counterfeit products, copyright violations, trademark infringements, and patent infringements using tools and techniques available. Continuously monitor the marketplace, online platforms, and other channels for potential infringements. Job Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor\'s Degree in any field from a recognised academic institution. A degree or diploma in enforcement or intellectual property-related field is a plus. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Proven effectiveness as a team player with a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, excellent time management, and prioritisation skills. Demonstrated high level of discretion and ethical conduct, including the ability to maintain confidentiality. Proactive and self-motivated, with a genuine passion for protecting intellectual property. Collaborative team player with the ability to work seamlessly across teams/departments and with external partners. This role may require flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as it involves field investigations and travelling domestically.
