Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment on a day-to-day basis to ensure operational objectives are met.
• Supervises security personnel at a single site who perform activities related to building security, safety, and organization or government restrictions.
• Lead and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in order to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned equipment downtime. This includes Heat exchanger line equipment, E-coating Line and WWTP.
• Manage the functioning of the building\xe2\x80\x99s systems including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building & grounds, while ensuring its proper design, installation, and maintenance.
• Manage Facilities technicians and contractors for equipment and facility maintenance, capital and renovation projects.
• Manage the repair & maintenance budget and develop cost reduction / energy savings strategies.
• Lead the expense control process for supplies & tools for the factory.
• Develop costs and schedules related to facility projects, including equipment, materials and labor.
• Lead the operations of the computerized maintenance management system in planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Develop capabilities of facilities team members through training, coaching and establishing high standards and ensuring accountability.
• Determine the preventive maintenance requirements for existing and new equipment and ensure training of equipment operators to perform routine maintenance.
• Serve as technical resource regarding factory equipment and machinery.
• Contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement activities for safety, health & environmental protection, on-time delivery, production efficiency and scrap reduction.
• Supporting regulatory compliance audits for the factory
• Ensure effective Preventive and Corrective maintenance to Building Facility, Schedule Waste Room,LV Room,Boiler, WWTP, Tube-well, pump house, burners, Cooling Towers, N2, O2, Helium, LPG, NG plant,Chillers and compressors
• Ensure effective Preventive and Corrective maintenance to related facilities/ utilities
• Ensure Energy management are operated effectively and efficiently
• Ensure compliance on Ethics, Business Practices and EH&S
• Actively participate in TPM, Kaizen & EH&S programs
• To troubleshoot and rectify problems (electrical/mechanical) associated to the facility & equipment as the need arises.
• To ensure safe working environment and maintain good housekeeping of the facility house.(Building Facility,Schedule Waste Room,Room,Boiler, WWTP, Tube-well, pump house, burners, Cooling Towers, N2, O2, Helium, LPG, NG plant,Chillers and compressors)
• To complete monthly maintenance reports along with updating facilty/equipment checklist .
• To comply to all safety guidelines as stipulated by the company and the Department of Safety & Health (DOSH).
• To make necessary preparation with contractors during repair, maintenance and annual inspections by relevant authorities.
• To perform tasks associated to the facilities and maintenance department as and when required.
• To perform all activities in accordance to the policies, procedures,training and work ethics of the company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering / Chemical/ Environmental Science / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experiences
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience preferably in a waste water treatment plant manufacturing environment.
• Responsible and able to work independently.
• Self-motivated and hardworking.
• Computer: Microsoft office
• Language: Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Competent person for CePSWaM Certificate (Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management) or CePIETSO (PCP) Certificate is mandatory
• Certified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment System or Physical Chemical Process will be added advantage
