Engineer - Global IT Service Desk

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support and perform scoping and studies for business requirements.
  • Develop and deliver IT service procedures, processes and policies to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Analyse statistics and prepare relevant reports.
  • Deliver services to Business Application, end user computing, Data Centre and IT Infrastructure teams.
  • Define, build, and maintain new/old Service Catalogues in IT Shop and ServiceNow system
  • Deliver IT service activities including systems assurance, installation planning, and identification of system problems.
  • Collaborate across all functional teams to ensure end-to-end services are delivered to the business.
  • Promote customer satisfaction through efficient, effective delivery of services, proactively managing issues that could affect service delivery while managing scope, cost of delivery and coordination.
  • Work closely with B. Braun Global Team and IT Level 1/2/3 support team with minimal supervision.
  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Professional competencies
  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or IT-related field
  • Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Mandarin is ideal
  • Basic PC troubleshooting skills for MS Office 365, MS Teams, and Windows 10
  • Experience in setting up and creating ID in Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with using ServiceNow incident management system, or similar systems
  • Preferably, experience in SAP account/role creation and deletion.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Firewall and Cisco Finesse is an advantage
