ENGINEER, PRODUCTION DAIKIN ELECTRONIC DEVICES MALAYSIA SDN BHD (DAIKIN GROUP)JOB DESCRIPTIONKey Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operation of the production lines to meet the production delivery schedules, quality and cost requirements.
• Ensure minimum downtime with close monitoring on production activities and machine.
• Manage production resources for high efficiency and good coordination in achieving target output.
• Manage production and process functions to ensure quality products are built efficiently and delivered on time.
• Manage efforts to standardize work and set target cycle time for every product and process.
• Manage process control and improvement efforts to increase straight pass and reduce defects.
• Supervise & monitor production capacity plan and oversee its execution to meet delivery requirements develop by Production Manager.
• Monitor control and improve inventory levels and accuracy.
• Monitor operation costs and lead in efforts to reduce wastage in production.
• Develop team of supervisors, technicians, lead operators, clerks and operators to work effectively in respective production and process functions.
• Review and report performance of production, process and inventory functions in achieving targets.
• Liaise with relevant personnel from related departments for matters affecting production and process performance.
• Uphold company and department regulations and ensure compliance by all subordinates.
• Ensure good 5S practice in work area.

Reporting To: Manager, ProductionRequirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Malay, English (Mandarin & Japanese is added advantage)
• CGPA Requirement: 3.00 - 4.00 (Second class Upper- & First-Class Honour.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Able to organize effective team meetings to achieve meeting objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various functions.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
• 1 Full-Time positions available.
• Knowledge of PCBA is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AI/SMT/ MI is an added advantage.
• At least 1-year working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
• Applicant should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
